Our story
We made this for our own kids
We speak Punjabi and English at home and switch without thinking. But we live in an English-speaking world, so English is usually what we reach for first.
We want Punjabi to feel familiar while our kids are young: a language they can speak with their grandparents, their parents and their friends.

Questions from parents
Does my child need to understand Punjabi already?
No. Some kids understand a lot but reply in English; others are just starting. Boli Buddies is built to make Punjabi feel familiar from wherever they are.
Does my child need to say it perfectly?
No. The goal is joining the conversation, not perfect pronunciation. Every word they try is a way in.
Is this a full language course?
No. It’s repeated, everyday exposure plus a little help from you, so Punjabi gets easier to use at home.
My Punjabi isn’t great. Can I still use it?
Yes. Every word comes with the English beside it, and the tips for grown-ups assume you’re learning alongside.
